Ghost of black death victim? ‘Phantom’ caught on film in tube tunnel near plague pit

PARANORMAL investigators believe a strange figure caught on camera in a London Underground tunnel near an ancient plague burial pit could be the spirit of a victim of the the Black Death.

The "spectre" was filmed in a tunnel on the Piccadilly line between Knightsbridge and South Kensington, which curves past a mass of skeletons buried in a pit during the 17th century as London was devastated by the bubonic plague.
An unnamed passenger filmed the sight in the tunnel from a deserted Knightsbridge station platform.
Viewers of the video have said "an apparition can be seen that appears to lean over the tracks".
They claim they can then see a glowing figure appearing to crouch on the track in the tunnel, with some even alleging it then hides behind barriers.
Plague pits actually influenced the direction of many London Underground tunnels, carved out 150 years ago, with lines often having to curve around mass burial grounds such as this one.
The ground was often found with interlocking bones, that19th-century tube tunnellers could not drill through and had to divert the route.
